Introduction to the course
This Entry Level programme is a two day a week course aimed adults who are aged 24 or over and have a range of learning difficulties and disabilities.
Learners will choose Retail, Customer Service or ICT and Employability pathways.
These courses enable learners to develop employability, communication and group work skills.
Learners will also study English and maths.
What do I need?
No formal qualifications are needed for entry on to this programme.
How is the course taught?
You will experience a range of teaching styles, including working in small groups and 1:1 tutorial sessions with their Personal Tutor. Each group has an attached Support Worker, who works with the teaching staff to encourage learners to become more independent and develop their own learning skills.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through tutorial support throughout your programme.
What does it lead to?
You may have the opportunity to progress onto more substantial part-time or full-time courses within the College.
