Our student awards recognise those who have shown tremendous drive and commitment, in addition to excellence in vocational skills and skills for life. Some students overcome significant obstacles to success and their sheer determination deserves special recognition.

Our employer awards highlight our excellent partners, who work with the College to continue to develop the skills of their workforce, including apprentices who are at the beginning of their careers, preparing a strong foundation for their future.

We also want to acknowledge the dedication of our teaching and support staff, recognised by Ofsted this year when inspectors judged us to be a good college with outstanding features.

Below is a gallery of images from our 2009 Awards Ceremony. More than 50 awards were presented to our outstanding learners, staff and employer partners. The winners, their friends and family and an invited audience were treated to musical performances by College learners, and a speech by our VIP guest, David Lammy MP.
