Train to Gain Excellence Award
As an adult learner, Kevin O’Brien has recently completed an adult apprenticeship course, following an NVQ in Caretaking. He started at the College on a work-based literacy course and has since gained a promotion at his workplace, Barking & Dagenham Council. His tutor Malcolm Seward says ‘he has applied himself throughout the year and has continually encouraged and mentored colleagues in his workplace’.
