Agne has always enjoyed working with numbers, and was good at maths at school, so accounting was something she took to naturally. Here, she’s been able to combine her talent in that subject with a flair for languages. Already a speaker of English, Lithuanian and a little Russian, she’s adding Spanish!

With another language, I’ll be able to look further afield for jobs, or travel for my work and be confident that I can communicate wherever I am.”

“Before I first came to the College I was worried that I might have to wait another year before starting a course. I came in to enrolment one day in September, I got to speak to a teacher from the course I wanted, got my assessment and all the paperwork done in one visit and everything was sorted out on the same day. At first there was a problem with my application for the Government’s EMA [Education Maintenance Allowance] payments, but I got help to sort that out too.”
