“I’m very happy - the College gives people like me the chance to learn"

Fidan is taking an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) course at the College – but she doesn’t have to come to our main Tottenham Centre for her teaching. That’s because she studies on one of the dozens of courses we run in convenient community venues, making learning accessible for everyone.

"I am very busy being a wife and mother but the College makes learning easy for me. My ESOL class is in the community centre which is very close to my home and there is a free crèche so I can take my son with me. When my English is good enough I want to do the accounting course. I’m very happy that the College gives people like me these chances to learn the skills we need."
