Last year 3.6 million vocational qualifications were awarded and millions of people will achieve similar success this year.
VQ Day was launched in 2008 to raise the stature of practical and vocational learning and celebrate vocational achievement. The 3rd annual VQ Day will take place nationwide on 23rd June 2010.
VQ Day is led by independent education foundation, Edge, with support from many of the leading players in the vocational education community. Edge are committed to raising the stature of practical and vocational learning across the UK. Sign up to keep up to date with our activities and projects.
Last year, our learner George Ogunrinola did the College proud by fighting off hundreds of applicants to be named VQ Hero 2009 for the whole of London. He went on to represent us at the spectacular national VQ Day event. You can read all about his success by following the link to the right.
We're currently finalising our entrants for this year's awards, and we're confident our learners have what it takes to follow in George's footsteps.
