The College of North East London (CONEL) sent off a cheque to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) Tsunami appeal today for a whopping £719.70.

This was the result of two fund raising events. The first, a sale at the Tottenham Green Centre, generated a massive £449 when staff sold off their second hand books, videos and unwanted Christmas presents. This total was bumped up by a collection day yesterday when generous staff and students at the Tottenham Centre donated a further £270.70.

CONEL would like to thank everyone who gave their hard earned cash and time to support this worthy cause.
