Construction learners will get the opportunity to gain valuable work experience with Mulalley
Mullalley, who regularly work with the College - and have just offered a six year training package to 19 year old Kojo Hurley-Holder - has set up a work experience programme as part of their commitment to invest in the community.
They made the agreement with the College as part Haringey Guarantee Partnership, which aims to boost employment and training in the borough.
The College will provide two learners every fortnight to work across a range of trades, including brickwork, carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical.
College Principal and Chief Executive, Paul Head, said: “Mulalley is inspirational in recognising that there is huge potential in our local community and is prepared to give high achieving students, like Kojo and other learners, the experience they need to succeed in the industry.”
Mullalley are currently constructing a large multi-purpose school, incorporating existing schools and the addition of a special needs facility to serve residents of Broadwater Farm and Haringey.
