Contract Opportunities: Key Skills Tutors

 

Due to the expansion of our successful Apprenticeship programme and other work with employers, we are seeking to appoint qualified, experienced key skills tutors.

You will:

• Have excellent inter-personal skills and to be able to work flexibly with employers to support learners.

• Be responsible for assessment and review of trainees on vocational/work based learning programmes.

• Be delivering Literacy and Numeracy at both level 1and 2

• Have experience of delivering in the workplace.

• Maintain monitoring, control and assessment systems required to ensure quality assurance of the qualifications offered.

• Participate as a member of the course team and support curriculum developments.

• Comply with all administrative requirements in SFA and awarding body documentation.

• Attend meetings as required.

• Promote information and participate in processes for internal verification.

• Promote actively all college policies and particularly those which refer to equal opportunities and health and safety.
