Contract Opportunities: NVQ Assessors

 

Due to the expansion of our successful Train to Gain offer and other work with employers, we are seeking to appoint NVQ Assessors to contribute towards the delivery of NVQ qualifications in the workplace.

We are continually looking to appoint assessors in the following areas:

NVQ Customer Services
NVQ Business Administration
NVQ Cleaning
NVQ Team Leading

You will have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to work flexibly with employers to support learners. A1 or D32/D33 qualified with at least 2 years experience assessing in the relevant occupational area and be able to work flexible hours and locations (within reason), if required.

Key Objectives:

• You will be responsible for assessment and review of trainees on vocational/work based learning programmes in your own area of vocational expertise and competence.

• You will, if required, deliver underpinning knowledge and carry out health and safety checks on employer premises

• Maintain monitoring, control and assessment systems required to ensure quality assurance of the qualifications offered.

• Participate as a member of the course team and support curriculum developments.

• Comply with all administrative requirements in LSC and awarding body documentation.

• Attend meetings as required

• Promote information and participate in processes for internal verification

• To promote actively all College policies and particularly those which refer to equal opportunities and health and safety.
