What will I learn?This course covers themes including: society, culture, citizenship and the environment. You will build on your GCSE knowledge in speaking, listening, reading and writing and learn more complex vocabulary and ideas.
What qualifications do I need?You will need to have AS Level Turkish at grade C or equivalent knowledge of Turkish. You will attend an interview before starting the course.
How will I be taught?This course is taught in a classroom using a mixture of group activities, discussions and practical activities.
How will I be assessed?Your progress is measured by feedback from your tutor, self assessment and homework that will be given on a regular basis. There will be written exam papers in reading, essay writing, literature and listening.
What could I do next?You could progress to university or pursue a range of careers.
How would this benefit my employer?This course equips our learners with solid Turkish Language skills which can be used in several career paths. This is particularly important as a community language in Public Services for instance.
