• What will I learn?This course covers themes including: society, culture, citizenship and the environment. You will build on your GCSE knowledge in speaking, listening, reading and writing and learn more complex vocabulary and ideas.

• What qualifications do I need?You will need to have AS Level Turkish at grade C or equivalent knowledge of Turkish. You will attend an interview before starting the course.

• How will I be taught?This course is taught in a classroom using a mixture of group activities, discussions and practical activities.

• How will I be assessed?Your progress is measured by feedback from your tutor, self assessment and homework that will be given on a regular basis. There will be written exam papers in reading, essay writing, literature and listening.

• What could I do next?You could progress to university or pursue a range of careers.

• How would this benefit my employer?This course equips our learners with solid Turkish Language skills which can be used in several career paths. This is particularly important as a community language in Public Services for instance.
