  • What qualifications do I need?You must be over 19 years of age and be able to provide evidence that you have the necessary background and motivation to succeed.

  • What will I learn?This course is great for those without formal academic qualifications who would like to progress to a higher education programme (such as an Honours Degree, a Foundation Degree, a Certificate of Higher Education or Higher National programme) at a university. Modules covered include maths, physics, electronics and ICT.

  • How will I be taught?Teaching will include a range of activities such as group activities, discussion, surveying college buildings, and practical applications of engineering.

  • How will I be assessed?Assessment is portfolio based marked by teachers and validated by the exam board. There are three exams in December and June.

  • What could I do next?You could progress to study engineering at higher education.
