What qualifications do I need?Criminal Record Bureau checks are required.
What will I learn?An Apprenticeship is a combination of on-and-off the job education and training. This Level 3 qualification recognises the ability to gain, and where relevant apply, a range of knowledge, skills and understanding. Learning at this level involves obtaining detailed knowledge and skills. It is appropriate for people wishing to go to university, work independently or, in some areas, supervise and train others in their field of work. It combines theoretical study of a technical certificate with the assessment of an NVQ Level 3, and Key Skills in communication and application of number.
How will I be taught?Workshops for underpinning knowledge take place in the classroom, Assessment of practice happens in the workplace and professional discussions are arranged at convenient times and venues.
How will I be assessed?You are assessed by a mixture of direct workplace observation, knowledge evidence, questioning, reflective accounts, professional discussion and witness testimony.
What could I do next?You could move on to higher level study or seek promotion in employment.
