What qualifications do I need?You will need to have basic computing skills, such as using a mouse and Microsoft Windows including basic word processing skills. You should have literacy at Entry Level 3/Level 1. It is recommended that you attend an advice and guidance session to find out if this is the right course for you. You will be asked to complete an assessment at this session.

What will I learn?This course has been designed to allow learners to extend their computer skills in IT using a series of instructions within the Microsoft Office programmes.

How will I be taught?This course is taught using varied teaching and learning techniques. You will have a mixture of group activities and discussions. This course runs during the day and evening.

How will I be assessed?The assessments are set assignments from the exam board and takes place at the end of each unit.

What could I do next?You could progress to BCS ITQ Level 2 or apply for one of our technical courses.
