  • What will I learn?This course is for volunteers and subject support tutors in Literacy, numeracy and ICT. You will learn the basic skills needed to support learners in the classroom with their literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.

  • What qualifications do I need?You will need to have good spoken English skills (Level 2) and be IT literate. You will have an interview and an initial assessment.

  • How will I be taught?A wide range of teaching methods are used, including lectures, group activities, workshops, tutorials and assignment writing sessions.

  • How will I be assessed?You will be continuously assessed throughout the course.

  • What could I do next?You could progress to the Certificate in Adult Numeracy or the Literacy Support Level 3 course.
