What will I learn?This course is for people who are new to using computers and wish to develop their confidence and skills and learn how to use them in their everyday lives. You will be introduced to the functions and uses of a computer, basic word processing, obtaining information and email.
What qualifications do I need?You will need to demonstrate you have basic literacy skills to enable you to follow instructions. It is recommended that you attend an advice and guidance session, where you will complete an assessment.
How will I be taught?You will be taught using a mixture of practical and theory tuition. To achieve the full qualification, you will need to successfully complete all units.
How will I be assessed?You will be assessed by your teacher and moderated by the awarding body.
What could I do next?You could progress to ICT Entry Level 2.
