What will I learn?This course gives you an introduction to a specialist work-related programme of study focusing on music production and the music industry. You study sequencing, live music recording, and soundtrack production for TV and film, covering all of the key knowledge and practical skills required in these areas.
What qualifications do I need?You will need three GCSEs at grade D or above including English, or equivalent vocational and literacy qualifications. Relevant experience in the field of study will be taken into consideration for adults returning to education.
How will I be taught?Teaching is in a classroom through a series of seminars, lectures and workshops.
How will I be assessed?You are assessed through practical observation and written assignments.
What could I do next?You could progress on to a Level 3 course at the College or go straight into employment in the recording industry.
