What will I learn?This course is for anyone considering a career in health and care. It will appeal to you if you enjoy studying a subject relevant to your own life and experience. The course will also give you the opportunity to improve your literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
What qualifications do I need?You will need to show a keen interest in health and care. You do not need any previous qualifications, but you will be interviewed.
How will I be taught?You will have a mixture of lectures, group activities, discussions and practical activities.
How will I be assessed?You are assessed through a mixture of assignments and portfolio tasks, plus a multiple choice test.
What could I do next?If you complete the course satisfactorily you can apply to do the BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
