What qualifications do I need?You will need four GCSEs at grades A-C including English or a Level 2 vocational qualification at merit level plus a relevant Level 2 literacy qualification. Relevant experience in this field of study will be taken into consideration for adults.
What will I learn?This course provides essential skills and training for anyone wishing to pursue a career in acting. This highly practical course enables you to work and develop your skills in devising, storytelling, script writing, improvisation and voice. You will learn how the acting industry works and how to find employment as an actor in theatre and film. The course also teaches you essential technical skills in lighting and sound. Once completed most learners progress onto university or drama school.
How will I be taught?You will be taught through a mixture of seminars, lectures, classroom delivery and workshops.
How will I be assessed?You will be assessed through practical projects, observation and written assessments.
