  • What will I learn?This course will develop your accounting skills, covering units such as recording income and receipts, initial trial balance and supplying information for management control, making and recording payments, health and safety, achieving personal effectiveness and working with computers (SAGE).

  • What qualifications do I need?You will need to be at least 17, with numeracy and literacy at Entry Level 3 or above preferably with GCSE maths and English). A reference will be required.

  • How will I be taught?You will be taught through a series of workshops, including guest speakers and visits.

  • How will I be assessed?You will be continuously assessed through skills tests and exams.

  • What could I do next?You could progress to the NVQ in Accounting (AAT) Level 3.

  • How would this benefit my employer?You will be more proficient in using accounting skills such as recording sales, purchases ,extracting trial balance, calculating profit, chasing debtors and contributing to management decisions related to finance which will enhance your performance and competitiveness at work.
