• What will I learn?You will develop your accounting skills and at the same time improve your English language skills. The course covers units including recording income and receipts, initial trial balance and supplying information for management control, making and recording payments, health and safety, achieving personal effectiveness and working with computers (SAGE).

• What qualifications do I need?You must be at least 17, preferably with numeracy and literacy at Entry Level 3 or above. You must pass an initial assessment and provide a reference.

• How will I be taught?You will be taught through a series of workshops, including guest speakers and visits.

• How will I be assessed?You will be continuously assessed through skills tests and exams.

• What could I do next?You could progress to the NVQ in Accounting (AAT) Level 3.

• How would this benefit my employer?You will be more proficient in using accounting skills such as recording sales, purchases ,extracting trial balance, calculating profit, chasing debtors and contributing to management decisions related to finance which will enhance your performance and competitiveness at work.
