National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Levels 1, 2 and 3
Many people choose to study NVQ courses because they want to develop their knowledge, skills, competencies and understanding in specific areas such as carpentry and joinery, hairdressing, accounting, plumbing and gas. The qualifications are designed by employers and show that you are competent to do the job. NVQ students are assessed in the workplace.
What qualifications do I need to apply?
Level 1 - You will take an initial assessment to check your level of literacy and numeracy.
Level 2 - 4 GCSEs at grade D – G or a Level 1 qualification
What could I do next?
A course at the next level, or move into employment or an
apprenticeship.
