This is the consultation feedback page on the proposed merger of the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (CONEL) with the Capital City College Group (CCCG).
DRAFT Merger Resolution
The Corporation of the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London unconditionally RESOLVES that following:
publication of the results of a statutory consultation exercise undertaken by the Corporation of The College Of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (as required under The Further Education Corporations (Publication of Proposals) (England) Regulations 2012);
the carrying out of due diligence exercises in respect of the Corporation of the WKCIC Group; and
publication of the draft resolution of the Corporation of The College Of Haringey, Enfield and North East London to dissolve and provide for the transfer of its assets, rights and liabilities
the Corporation of The College Of Haringey, Enfield And North East London hereby unconditionally RESOLVES to merge with the Corporation of The WKCIC Group with effect from 1 November 2017, with the Corporation of The College Of Haringey, Enfield and North East London dissolving at one minute past midnight on 1st November 2017 and its assets, rights and liabilities transferring immediately before that time to The WKCIC Group and that delegated authority be given to the Chair and Principal to sign the Transfer Deed.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the following people shall be fully authorised to represent the Corporation in its merger discussions with the WKCIC Group and towards all third parties, including without limitation, making or authorising all the necessary arrangements to draft, prepare, circulate and sign all the necessary letters documents or contracts on behalf of the Corporation with respect to the merger process: Andy Forbes (Principal), Stewart Cross (Vice Principal Finance & Resources) and Keith Brown (Chair).

Background Information to the Consultation
The Corporations of the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (CONEL) and the Capital City College Group (CCCG) are excited to announce initial plans for CONEL to join the CCCG, with a target date of 1 November 2017. Both Corporations have agreed to go ahead with public consultation on the plan.
Capital City College Group was formed last year with a membership comprising City and Islington College, Westminster Kingsway College and Capital City College Training. It is the third largest FE organisation in the UK.
The Group’s members are recognised across the full range of services provided by further education and have nationally renowned specialisms in Applied Sciences, Hospitality and Catering, as well as one of the largest Apprenticeship programme of any college in London.
