About the Course

The world of sales has changed, and we cannot just rely on traditional sales approaches like relationship building or cold calling. Sales professionals serving the training needs of UK industry, need to develop new skills that are up to date with modern commerce and technology.

That is why Collab Group has developed a new Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship for B2B Sales Executives, which will equip you and your business development team with the skills to be a more effective sales professional.

This apprenticeship programme, delivered in partnership with Capital City College Training and the Association of Sale professionals (APS) will enable you to be up to date with the latest sales techniques. This apprenticeship caters for experienced professionals, enabling them to be more effective and more process driven. What makes this course different is that its focused on process-driven sales methodology with core learning modules on Lean for Sales and Theory of Constraints.

What Will I Need

You will need:

  • To be aged 16 or older
  • To be employed for a minimum of 30 hours per week with 20% of your normal working hours set aside for you to complete your training and study
  • 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English and Maths or a relevant Level 2 qualification and Functional Skills at Level 2 in English and Maths

All applicants must have an interview and assessment in English and Maths to confirm that the apprenticeship is suitable for them.

Employers may also set additional entry requirements, as a prerequisite to working with them.


At the end of the programme, learners will be assessed by an external organisation known as End Point Assessment (EPA). Their assessment will include:

  • A work-based project
  • A presentation of your organisation’s products and/or service
  • A structured question and answer session
  • An exploratory discussion.
