Why did you choose to study at CONEL?
I’m studying building engineering at the University of Westminster and wanted to learn about bricklaying, and this course fitted in around my other studies.

It is very practical and the College has great facilities. The workshop has all the necessary tools to learn how to do the job.

The diversity of the students and the great help from the teachers and staff in the classroom and the workshop.
What are you planning to do after your course?
Finish my degree and look for an apprenticeship in construction.
What is your dream job?
A civil or building engineer.
What do you like to do when you’re not at college?
Brazilian jiu-jitsu, travelling and motorcycling.
Who is your favourite tutor and why?
Kwadwo Amponsah and Garry Powell. Both have a lot of practical and theoretical knowledge and experience to pass onto their students.
What advice would you give to a student doing your course next year?
Do not waste your time in class. Ask your teachers for feedback to help you find ways to improve your results.
