We are working with North Middlesex Hospital and DFN Project SEARCH to offer supported internships, designed to develop your work skills and help you become more employable.
Based at North Middlesex Hospital, where all the practical work-based training and classroom learning will take place, you will be taught English, Maths and employability skills for one hour each day, as well as having tutorial time with your instructor/job coach each day. The rest of the day will be spent working within the hospital’s various departments, to give you the chance to experience the roles available and to develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to possibly be appointed to a permanent job at the hospital.
The programme being offered is part of Project SEARCH - 65% of students gain permanent employment at the end of the programme. There are only 12 places available, so please apply early to avoid disappointment.
