Introduction to the course

This qualification will give you a deeper understanding of business. This is a good level of education for employment and will improve your problem solving skills and increase your resourcefulness. This level is often the minimum requirement for employers.

What do I need?

A Level 1 Diploma in Business or at least four GCSEs including English and Maths at grades 3 to 1 (D to G) or Functional Skills at Level 1. You will need to attend an interview, have a good reference and an excellent attendance record.

How is the course taught?

This is a year-long course taught full time for 15 hours over three days a week.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed through course work and assignments over a range of different activities.

What does it lead to?

A Level 3 Diploma in Business, apprenticeship or employment.
