Business Management BTEC Extended Diploma Level 3
Introduction to the course
If you choose to enrol for the Business Management BTEC Extended Diploma at Level 3, you will be studying a range of topics including:
Managing a business event
Managing business resources
Human resource management
Accounting and finance
What do I need?
To study the Extended Business Diploma at Level 3, you will need 5 GCSEs at grades A* - C or a Level 2 qualification at Merit grade. You will need to come to an interview, pass an assessment, have a good reference and, if you are progressing from school or college, an 87% attendance record.
How is the course taught?
You will be taught through a series of workshops, guest speakers and visits. You will work in groups, pairs and independently, contributing to seminars and presentations to demonstrate what you have learnt throughout the course.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed continuously through assignments.
What does it lead to?
Once you’ve completed the Level 3 extended diploma in business management, you could progress to a university degree in accounts, business, marketing or human resource management.
