An introduction to digital media production. You will learn basic skills such as:

You will use equipment and software programmes such as:

Audio recorders

Green Screen

You will learn about the media industry and develop employability skills. Visits, trips and work experience are compulsory.

What do I need?

You will need 4 GCSE’s at grade E-G

You need to be motivated in following a vocational programme of study.

You will need to show your commitment in working towards goals with your tutor at your interview.

How is the course taught?

Through class room teaching, practical activities, visits to galleries and field trips and course work and research.

How will I be assessed?

You will be assessed continually through practical project work, coursework, written assignments and presentations.

What does it lead to?

You could progress onto Media Level 2.
