Introduction to the course

Completing this course in GCSE Level 2 Maths could open up countless opportunities for you throughout your life. Doing a Level 2 course means that you will be able to get an A*-C grade in Maths, which is a frequent requirement when applying for jobs or other courses.

This course is taught at two centres in London, in the North Eastern areas of Tottenham and Enfield.

This course will help you to improve your GCSE grade in mathematics, which is required for entry into various professional courses and higher education.

What do I need?

You will need an existing GCSE grade E for Foundation Level and grade D for the Higher Level.

How is the course taught?

This course is taught using a mixture of group activities, discussions and practical activities.

How will I be assessed?

Your assessment includes three written exam papers taken throughout the year, set by AQA.

What does it lead to?

You could progress to AS/A Level, or other courses such as teacher training, for which a pass grade at GCSE in mathematics is an entry requirement.
