Introduction to the course
This course covers an introduction to the Nail Industry, following Health and Safety Practice in the Salon, carry out Client Consultations, Promoting products and services, Provide and maintain Nail Enhancements.
What do I need?
Ideally you should have a good level of English. Interview and initial assessment which will include a practical skills assessment to make sure the course is a good match for you.
You must be able to commit to good attendance and desire to complete the course, be reliable and have the ability to work hard and meet deadlines. You will also be required to work under supervision and follow instructions.
You must set aside time outside of college hours to study, including on-going practise of practical skills. Learners must demonstrate at interview their commitment to self-motivated study.
How is the course taught?
This is taught through theory sessions and practical classes
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through the completion of assignments and practical observations.
Your employers will be able to employ qualified staff to work in their Nail Salons with up to date knowledge of industry standards.
