Introduction to the course

This programme will provide you with opportunities to gain confidence with your life skills whilst starting to develop your ability to be more independent. The course is designed to help you to gain life skills at Entry Level 2. It includes maths and English, tutorial, practical life skills, developing confidence in using public transport and community facilities. You will have the opportunity of supported work placement/enterprise. In addition, you will begin to explore a range of vocational subjects on offer to assist in the development of work/life related skills including catering, gardening, painting and decorating. You will have supported break and mealtimes if you require it. You will progress onto community activities such as volunteering or part time courses.
