About the Course

This course is an Introduction to the Health Care and Early Years and has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills through introducing you to the Care industries and how you should present a professional image in the Care Setting. To Course will cover topics such as communication, development, play and healthy eating. The course is a combination of academic and practical skill development. Learners will complete academic tasks to ensure they have the essential knowledge needed in the Care industry such as health and Safety. Learners will also have the opportunity to develop their skills in Story Telling, Infection Control, Age appropriate activities, Indoor and Outdoor Play and making play dough. On completion you will be able to enrol onto a Level 1 Health Care and Children’s and Young People’s Settings.

What Will I Need?

You will need to be aged 16-18 years old and eligible to study in the UK. Upon enrolment, you will be asked to provide your residency documents for college funding purposes.
