Aimed at +19 learners who have completed a L2 qualification in Travel & Tourism or for those already working in the industry and want to improve their job prospects, this 10 week course will help you to develop your analytical skills whilst you examine the various visitor attractions in the UK, their appeal, the reasons for their commercial success, how they develop and the importance of providing memorable visitor experiences. This course will help you to progress to higher level Travel and Tourism courses and enable you to progress in your career. Topics covered include examining a number of visitor attractions and their appeal, how they meet visitor expectations and how they remain successful. Learners will also need to have a good level of Maths and English as an entry criteria. If you have been in the UK for less than 3 years or have entered the UK with a visa you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to study in the UK - your visa, your biometric card that covers the duration of your course or any relevant home office documents to support your residency should all be provided. If you’re an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen we will need to see evidence of 'Pre-Settled' or 'Settled-status' documents. Also for funding purposes we would need to see evidence of payslips if working (within the last 3 months). If you are receiving benefits (e.g JSA, ESA, Universal Credit (UC), Housing benefits etc. please provide evidence of this).
