Twelve CONEL learners have each received a computer and software from the College in recognition of their excellent attendance and punctuality.
The dozen, chosen from every area of CONEL's curriculum, are the latest recipients of prizes in the College's ongoing campaign to reward its most dedicated learners.
The rewards are open to all learners, irrespective of their age or the subject they are studying. Winners are selected by the College's management team, twice every year. The computer equipment is provided jointly by the College and through funding from the Aim Higher programme, which encourages College learners to progress on to Higher Education and works to make them aware of their choices.
CONEL Principal Paul Head met ten of the prize winners and added his personal congratulations. "This is a fantastic achievement by all of our winners," he said. "They have shown the sort of dedication to learning that we try to foster in all of our learners, and we're happy to be able to reward their excellent attitude to their studies. I hope the computer equipment will help them in all their work, and encourage them all to strive for more success in the future."
