CONEL Business Enterprise Week 2008 will take place between 17 and 23 November, featuring a full week of activities and events, including a Going Global Day, Women's Enterprise Day and Social Enterprise Day.
Part of the week's events will be a Dragons' Den-style competition, in which you will be able to pitch a business idea to a panel of Dragons including the Principal. If your idea is judged to be the best, you'll win £250 of start-up costs for your business. The competition is open to all CONEL learners.
Competitors will have to attend a half-hour seminar each week for nine consecutive weeks beginning in the week commencing 29 September 2008, to help you develop your idea and prepare your pitch to the Dragons.
For more information, contact CONEL's Business Enterprise and Entrepreneurial Skills Coordinator, Marcia Hamilton by email or on extension 3984. Completed applications must be submitted by Marcia by the end of Friday September 26 - you can hand them in to reception.
