More than twenty College students, studying Childcare and Education CACHE Certificate Level 2 were out fundraising for Children in Need at the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London’s Enfield Centre on Friday (19 November).
Wearing only pyjamas, furry ears and a lot of make-up the young women were especially grateful for the warm sunshine that broke through the morning’s thick fog.
Their tutor, Hazel Wicks explained: “We do this every year for Children in Need. The whole College loves it and we’ve already raised £300. Our target is £500.
Childcare learner Holli Leach, said: “We study Childcare because we love children. Children in Need is the ideal charity for us because it gives so many children wonderful opportunities and it keeps them safe.”
