The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London has the most satisfied learners in London, and that’s official - according to the latest FE choices 2013/14 student satisfaction survey. The College topped the list with an incredible 89% of students saying they are satisfied.  This tremendous result is 2% higher than last year when the College also topped the London league for satisfaction at 87%.

The FE Choices Survey is made up of nine questions and the College scored particularly well in: Respect shown by staff to learners (a score of 9.2) – increase of 0.1 from 2012-13, The quality of teaching / training (a score of 9.2) – increase of 0.1 from 2012-13 and Support provided to learners on their course (a score of 9.0) – increase of 0.1 from 2012-13.

Vice Principal, Kurt Hintz said: “I am extremely pleased; the results prove the College’s commitment to our learners. We have excellent progression rates to employment and our courses and apprenticeships help to develop the skills and attitudes that employers are seeking in their employees.”

Students’ Union President, Melina Zachariou (pictured centre) said, “It’s easy to see why the College came first. You can see that the students are happy and comfortable. The tutors are really approachable, there are a number of services for anyone that needs additional support and the College takes safety and wellbeing very seriously. It’s a nice environment to be in.”

FE Choices is funded by the Skills Funding Agency and helps students make comparisons between courses and colleges so that they can make a decision where to study based on accurate information.  The survey results were published online on 11 December 2014 and can be found at:
