Paul Mitchell from CONEL is in the running for QEOP Apprentice of the Year. He has been nominated for this by Balfour Beatty, whom he works for as an apprentice.
His lecturer Kevin Solomon vouches for him, saying “he has excellent attendance and punctuality and a pleasant manner at college. He is always willing to help others, as observed during on-site observations. He is dedicated to maintaining high standards of work and is positively active in completing his studies”.
Paul Mitchell is finalising the last stages of his Site Carpentry NVQ Level 2 and is looking forward to continuing onto Level 3. He is very pleased with his nomination, saying “It feels very good. I feel happy to be nominated because I try hard. I like my job; I’m always doing something new and learning different things”.
