Ragostina Semerdzhieva (pictured below) an ESOL Entry Level 2 student said: “I was not expecting to win, I was surprised and appreciative. I have the best teacher who helped me get through the course. I am overjoyed to win the award!”
Following the ceremony, the students celebrated with an end of year party with great music, food and a delicious homemade cake made by their ESOL teacher, Oya Karabetca. Oya stated: “ESOL (16-18) students all come from different countries, mostly within the EU. I am so proud of all of them as they have achieved so much in a short amount of time, achieving their Cambridge ESOL Skills for Life qualification”.
