We run a range of qualifications to support your progression including:
Education and Training - formerly the PTTLS (Level 3)
Information, Advice or Guidance (Level 2)
Learning Support Practitioners (Level 2)
Peer Mentoring (Level 2)
All our courses up to Level 3 are FREE for 16 to 18s and Entry Level to Level 2 courses are FREE to everyone.
How much do teachers earn?
If you’re considering a career in teaching, you’ll probably want to know how well the profession pays. Once you’ve completed one of our Teacher Education courses, you could be on the path to a career in professions such as:
- Teaching Assistant: £18,720
- Learning Mentor/Assistants: £18,720
- Library Assistant: £21,840
- Primary School Teacher: £37,440
- FE Lecturer: £39,520
- Secondary School Teacher: £41,600
And with the Government recently announcing more money for teaching, the workforce is projected to grow by 4.7% over the period to 2024, creating 23,100 jobs. In the same period, 33.7% of current teachers are likely to retire, creating 163,400 job openings, making now a great time to get into a teaching career.
