College Open Day helps people make the right choice
The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London’s Enfield Centre opened its doors to potential students last week as tutors got together to speak to visitors about the College’s 300 courses.16 year old Louise from Edmonton County School attended the open day with her mum, Susan. Louise said, “I came along to find out more about hair and beauty courses. I’m doing my GCSEs at the moment but I’m still unsure whether its hair or beauty I want to study next. Hopefully speaking to tutors will help me decide so I can apply.”
Open Day is an opportunity for visitors to speak to tutors, view college facilities, take part in informal interviews and apply for courses. They can also find out about funding, student support and enrichment activities, which include trips, sports activities and volunteering opportunities such as the student ambassador programme.
The next Open Day will take place at the College’s Tottenham Centre on Thursday 7 February, 4 – 7.30pm. To register and for more information, visit: www.conel.ac.uk/opendays
