Visitors and staff get fit Zumba style at College Open Day

The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London's Tottenham Open Day had a distinctly festive feel on Saturday, (11 May), with visitors, staff and passers-by, enthusiastically taking part in outdoor Zumba! Inside, the carnival atmosphere continued with tasters to try out, free hair and beauty treatments, information & advice and the opportunity meet lecturers and make applications.Chenique Cawley (17), took the opportunity to apply for course in Electrical Installation when she visited. Chenique who currently attends Broomfield School, said: "I want a practical, hands on course. I'm good with my hands and I've always been fascinated by electrical installation. I know that this is what I want for my career."

Bryan Nelson (24), came along to find out about Animation and Games Design. Bryan said: "I'm really interested in creative media and I'm impressed by the College's Animation and Games Design course. I live locally so the course would be very convenient for me".

Assiata Sieuf discussed her options in health care courses to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. Assiata said: "I want to study at the College so that I can pass the qualifications I need to finally fulfil my ambition of becoming a nurse."

The College's Enfield Centre Open Day takes place on Saturday 18 May, timed to take place on the first day of Adult Learners Week (18 - 24 May).
