The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London is holding an Open Day as part of Apprenticeships Week 2014. If you would like to start work as an apprentice or if you are looking for a course after leaving school – come along! The Open Day takes place on Saturday 8 March, 10am – 4pm at the College's Tottenham Centre and Enfield Centre.
This is your chance to meet teachers, find out about courses and apprenticeships, tour the College and try out taster sessions. The College currently has nearly 50 apprenticeship vacancies, which are ready to start now!
Our amazing apprentices and students include:
Zubeyde Ozsayan, who started with the College as a Pre-apprentice and is now an Accounts Apprentice Level 3 with Ulus & Co in Edmonton
James Stevens who started with the College as an IT Pre-apprentice and is now an IT Apprentice Level 3 with IT specialists CareWare IT Solutions.
Andre Ferreira, Games and Animation BTEC Level 3, who won a Silver Medal at the Skills Show 2013. Andre competed against the best games development students in the country for three days to win his medal.
Jane O'Neill, Interim Principal and Chief Executive said: "Many of our apprenticeships are available to start now, so come and find out more. We have pre-apprenticeships running throughout the year in Accounts, Railway Engineering and ICT for anyone who needs to build up their skills so that they are successful when applying for an apprenticeship."
Interviews and assessments are available at Open Day for many courses starting now or in September 2014.
The College's Information, Advice and Guidance team will be at the Open Day to offer impartial careers advice about courses and apprenticeships. And remember, all Open Day visitors will receive a free goody bag and be entered into a prize draw for a chance to win an iPad Mini.
