The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London’s School of ICT and Computing took a group of learners on a trip to visit the Warner Bros. Studios as part of their Enrichment activities. The students toured the set of the Harry Potter film series and were amazed at the breathtakingly detailed sets, stunning costumes and the props and animatronics that created the wizarding world of Harry Potter.

Curriculum Manager, Laila Hassanzadeh said: “The trip was designed to give the learners a first-hand insight into the practical and creative uses of IT in the workplace. The studio tour focused on the unique and extraordinary technology and computing talent that went into the making of the most successful film series of all time.”

Seeing the practical and creative uses of IT is an important part of educating our learners about the different opportunities that a career in ICT can offer.  If you think you’d like a career in IT, visit our course page here: www.conel.ac.uk/courses/ict-and-computing
