At the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London, we are dedicated to ensuring students across London have the information they need to make informed decisions about their future.

We can visit your school to provide support and guidance on the many post-16 options available to students when they leave school.

Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG)

We have a programme of activities we can deliver to your school to ensure your students are supported and informed about their future options. Through our strong links with local employers and external institutions, we can help you develop your students’ knowledge and understanding of potential progression routes and the world of work.Our activities are designed to support schools meet the Gatsby Benchmarks.

Parents evenings

Our careers and curriculum team can support your parent events with information, advice and guidance on life at college as well as hands on activities where appropriate.

Assemblies

Flexible for a range of year groups, assemblies are often the first introduction to college life for a student. These short sessions are a great starting point to excite and engage pupils in finding out more about a range of career and educational options.

Career Events

We are delighted to attend any of your career events to meet and advise pupils on Further Education, (school leavers), Higher Education (university level) and Apprenticeships. Our resources will illustrate the exciting courses we offer. The connection we make with your pupils is important to us and we will ensure the relationship continues after the event with invitations to our open evenings.

Taster Days and College Visits

We would love to invite you to CONEL and are happy to offer a taster day package bespoke to you and your pupils. Our subject staff are on hand to deliver interactive taster sessions and you are also welcome to select any of our engagement activities to be delivered on the day. We are happy to arrange separate Taster Days if you have specific requirements.

A day in the life of a CONEL learnerThis 60-minute session is designed to give students a taste of what it would be like to study at CONEL.  The session takes place at our centres and are interactive, they allow students the opportunity to ask questions, experience college facilities and discover first-hand what it is like to be a learner at CONEL.

Key Stage 4 provision

The College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London offers accredited alternative education provision for Key Stage 4 pupils, aged 14-16 years old. The courses we offer provide knowledge, experience and the vital employability skills required by employers. Click here to find out more.
