Accounting - Level 3 Diploma (AAT)

This Level 3 qualification builds on your existing accounting skills and introduces you to complex tasks in accounting and finances. This qualification will provide you with in-depth knowledge of working in finance.

Topics covered can include:

• Maintaining financial records
• Preparing accounts
• Recording and evaluating costs and revenues
• VAT and taxation
• Preparing reports and returns

You will need:

• Level 2 Accounting
• A reference from your previous school/college/employer

All applicants must have an interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.

You will be continuously assessed through skills tests and exams.

Adults

Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2
If you will be aged 19 or older on 31 August in the year you begin your course, and have been resident in the UK/EU/EEA for the past 3 years, your course will be FREE, regardless of your age or income. Some courses will have other costs associated, such as for materials and trips. After completing AAT Level 3, you could enter a range of financial careers or progress to the Accounting (Technician) AAT Level 4, Diploma in Management Studies, or other professional qualifications.
